2. Server log files

This website is a static site with no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts. However, whenever you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the file requested
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
  • Browser and, where applicable, the operating system of your device
  • Name of your internet service provider

This data is not combined with other data sources and is not used to draw conclusions about you personally.

Purpose: ensuring smooth connection setup, ensuring reliable use of the website, evaluating system security and stability, and other administrative purposes.

3. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the personal data you provide (name, email address, message content) will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed to us), or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your message relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Emails sent to our contact address are automatically forwarded to a Gmail account (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). This means your message content and email address are also processed by Google. This is done in our legitimate interest in reliably receiving and managing enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As Google is a US-based provider, this involves a transfer of personal data to the United States, which currently relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). All fonts used on this website are hosted locally. No connection to external font providers is made when you visit this site.
